Mediation is a structured approach to conflict handling, in which all parties try to find solutions in mutual agreement. The aim of the mediation process is to look for a consensus that satisfies the justified interests and needs of the involved parties. The process usually needs a skilled mediator.

Methods:

Training videos on the theory and practice of the eight essential steps of conflict handling. Participative training methods and the use of case studies and exercises will give all participants the chance to discuss questions and problems from their respective fields of work. Negotiation an mediation techniques will be trained in realistic role plays.
