Today the majority of projects and programmes are part of a complex institutional and organizational network. To be effective, the interests and efforts of many stakeholders (GOs, NGOs, CS, donors, etc.) have to be coordinated. Discussion and decision making processes within and between organizations and groups must be facilitated and guided towards desirable changes.
In Capacity WORKS, the management system of GIZ, the need for internal and external coordination has been identified as one of the 5 success factors of development programmes. This training programme will help to carry out the various coordination tasks.
